About Me-Kim Gammond
I work in communications and political affairs managing internal and external marketing, public relations, events and a political action committee. My husband, little black dog and I live in beautiful Bend, Oregon on an acre of land. We are fortunate enough to live in a place where skiing, camping, rafting, hiking and beer tasting are just another day. While all the activities here could fill a lifetime, I also love to travel. Washington DC, Chicago, New Orleans, Las Vegas, San Diego, Portland and Germany round out the past couple of years urban vacationing. Our RV allows access to easy traveling to many great locations in Oregon like the Cascade Lakes, the Oregon Coast and the Metolius River.
I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon in History and Political Science with a minor in German Studies and Master of Science in Communications from Purdue University. Prior to my current role I spent 10 years in non-profit fundraising and owned an event marketing/management company.
The ideal day for me is either a glass of wine and view of a lake from our RV, or a glass of wine in a new city at a cozy restaurant.
